A Christmas Carol – In theaters Nov. 6

Fantastic Mr. Fox – In theaters Nov. 13
Rated: PG (action, smoking and slang humor)
The Fantastic Mr. Fox is the tale of Mr. Fox, a wild and slick father who steals chickens, cider and whatever else he can find from the meanest farmers around, Boggis, Bunce and Bean. Join the fun as the farmers scheme to outsmart and capture the cunning fox. The Fantastic Mr. Fox is about family responsibility, friendship and midnight adventures.
Planet 51 – In theaters Nov. 20
Rated: PG (mild sci-fi action and suggestive language)
American astronaut Captain Charles “Chuck” Baker travels through space and lands on a planet that he quickly realizes is inhabited by little green people who consider him the alien. With the help of friends Chuck meets on Planet 51 he tries to escape the planet before the little green people make him a permanent part of the Planet 51 Alien Invaders Space Museum.
The Blind Side – In theaters Nov. 25
Rated: PG-13 (one scene involving brief violence, drugs and sexual references)
Based on the true story of NFL player Michael Oher, this wonderful film of hope and opportunity tells the story of a homeless African-American teen who finds refuge at the home of the Touhys, a wealthy, white family in Memphis. Tenn. This inspiring movie shows how “Big Mike” overcomes many challenges to become an All-American offensive left tackle. The Blind Side stars Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw.
The Princess and the Frog – In theaters Dec. 11
Rated: G
Disney’s The Princess and the Frog is a story of a beautiful girl named Tiana who has aspirations of owning her own restaurant. One day she meets a frog prince who eagerly wants to be human again. The two share one kiss that takes them on a wild and wacky adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.
Invictus – In theaters Dec. 11
Rated: Rated PG-13 (brief strong language)
Invictus is an inspiring true story of how South African President Nelson Mandela and rugby phenomenon Francois Pienaar come to together and unite an entire country fiercely divided by racism. This powerful film is directed by Clint Eastwood and stars Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon.
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel – In theaters Dec. 23
Rated: PG (some mild rude humor)
Alvin, Simon and Theodore are at it again. This time the three-some tries to save their school’s music program by entering a battle of the bands contest for $25,000. The antics begin when Alvin and the Chipmunks quickly discover they have to beat singing sensation, the Chipettes –Brittany, Eleanor and Jeanette in order to win the prize. This family comedy is filled with action and the usual frolicking of Alvin and the Chipmunks.
